This manual is a collaborative project featuring chapters researched, written, and developed by undergraduate students in the speech-language pathology program. Their creative elicitation scripts and clinical insights form the heart of this book, providing practical tools for hands-on intervention.
As our first renewable assignment, the project empowered University of Houston students to create a lasting public resource that supports children’s speech sound development and equips parents, caregivers, and professionals with additional intervention tools. This book would not have been possible without the invaluable guidance of Katherine Carter from the University of Houston Libraries.
