7 Commutative Property of Addition

Definition:

A property of addition and multiplication that says that changing the order of the numbers being added or multiplied does not change the answer…*

Example:5 plus 8 equals 13, if we change the order to 8 plus 5 it still equals 13.

7 times 3 equals 21 just as 3 times 7 also equals 21.

You can add and multiply numbers in any order and the result will be the same.
