More than

Formal Definition: “More than” means that one number is greater than another The “>” sign is used to represent it.

Kid friendly explanation: “More than” means one number is bigger than another number. You use the “>” symbol to show this.

Example: If you have 6 candies and your friend has 5 candies, you have more than your friend. We write it like this: 6 > 5.
