This is a continuation of a project that began in my class CHIN 3343 Chinese Popular Culture. After a successful first edition, we’re back with volume 2! Over the span of the course, I tasked students to share three Chinese popular culture terms they are familiar with, their definitions, and examples online on a Padlet wall. The vast and interesting responses led me to the realization that there were many terms I had not been exposed to. This collaborative project allows for students to exchange ideas and their knowledge of Chinese popular culture with myself, their peers, and the world.
